2009 Animal Run

The 2009 Animal Run is scheduled for Sat. Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. in downtown
Hickman. We hope you will consider becoming one of our sponsors. The
VOICE News originally sponsored the first Animal Run 26 years ago. Since
that time we have added business sponsors to help us raise more money
for a variety of community projects-everything from children with
cancer, ambulances, Wildlife Rescue, to this year the Teammates program
at Norris High School.

We are asking for a $100 cash contribution or $200 in-kind
prizes/donations from our sponsors. For your sponsorship we then will
include your logo on the back of a nice quality long sleeve white cotton
t-shirt. The unique Animal run shirts from years ago are still worn
today and have become very popular to own and collect. We will also
recognize all sponsors at the awards ceremony and prize drawings
following the run, as well as mentioning sponsors in the brochures
(deadline for receiving checks is Dec. 20) and in the accompanying
stories in the VOICE News.

The race attracts between 200-300 runners and their families to downtown
Hickman; the weather is always a factor in attendance but adds to the
fun and mystique of the Animal Run.

If you decide to become a sponsor we will also email you the entry form
for you to share with your friends, family and business friends. The
entry form will also run several weeks in the VOICE News.
