2010 One Hour Walk

Mark your calendar for Friday, May 7 and join TeamMates for their annual One Hour Walk. The walk is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. with opening ceremonies beginning at 6 in the Norfolk High School Gym. Attendees may enter through Door 16 on the west side of the school on sixth street. The Walk will take place on the NHS track. Attendees will have a final chance to purchase raffle tickets for the TeamMates Sandbox/Playhouse, donated by Carhart Lumber, 94 Rock adn the NECC Construction students. The winner will be drawn at the opening ceremonies. The TeamMates Sandbox can be seen at the Norfolk Area Home Show on March 19-21 at NECC and will also be available at the Walk.

Norfolk Board of Directors

At a recent Board of Directors meeting a plaque was presented to them in recognition of the One Hour Walk. Norfolk TeamMates raised over $25,000 last April at their walk which represented the most money raised in the state.

Norfolk Group Attends Gala Event

Several Norfolk TeamMates supporters attended the 2009 Gala held at the LaVista Convention Center. Special guests included Vince Gill and Warren Buffett.
